Both Socorro and I wanted to thank you for the tremendous job you did on marketing and selling our home in Livingston.  As you are aware, when we initially interviewed brokers to list our home in 2009, we spoke with you and Coldwell Banker.  At that time we chose Coldwell Banker based on our belief at that time that they would do a better job marketing our home.  Using hindsight, we were very wrong!  In the first week of having our home on the market, we received two “inferior” offers and rather than using the fact that two buyers were interested in the property and getting them to increase their offers, they wanted us to significantly drop our price below what they believed the fair market value was.  After giving Coldwell two more months to get a reasonable offer (in that period, several other low-ball offers were received and, again, their negotiating skills were lacking in our opinion), we pulled our listing.

 Fast forwarding, when we decided to re-list our property, we chose to go with you.  You prepared more professional marketing documents, including an on-line virtual tour and within the first week of having our home on the market with you, we had multiple offers presented.  Again, the initial offers were “low-ball” offers, but in a stark contrast to Coldwell Banker, you worked the buyers to ultimately get them to increase their offers above the initial asking price.  Further, as the sales process continued, you continued to go above and beyond to make sure the sale closed.  Your assistance in dealing with inspection issues that were presented by the Buyer was exceptional, and as a result, your efforts assured the close of the sale.

 Needless to say, Socorro and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone who wishes to list their home for sale.  You did a spectacular job for us on this sale, you worked tirelessly to assist us in finding a new home, and needless to say, when we need the services of a real estate agent in the future, you are our one and only choice.

You know that you have been an invaluable resource to us since we began the process of looking for our home. We would like to share our experience with your other clients and potential clients, so they can hear firsthand how wonderful you are: My husband and I lived in Manhattan while conducting our search for a home in Livingston, NJ. With our work schedules and no car, we could only make in into NJ on weekends, and Shari did everything she could to accommodate our schedules (including managing some aspects our our purchase process without us present whenever possible). She was always reachable, reassuring, and willing to answer any questions we had (and if she didn't know the answer offhand, she always got back to us once she looked into it). She was incredibly adept at understanding what we were looking for, staying within our price range, and offering a wide spectrum of properties for us to see in the limited time that we had. When we did decide to make an offer on what is now our house, Shari stayed late with us on a Saturday evening, taking time to explain everything. As she likes to say, she "held our hand" every step of the way and became much more than a real estate agent for us. Our distant dream of owning a house became a reality with the help of Shari, and I would recommend her to anyone I know. Dear Shari, I want to thank you for helping in the process of purchasing a house in Livingston. Like everyone else, buying a house is the biggest investment of our life. It goes without saying there are a lot of anxiety involved in it. Fortunately, we had Shari on our side to help us every step of the process. Shari was resourceful and always available to help at resolving issues that arose in the transaction. Our purchase transaction was not particularly smooth to say the least. There were bumps along the way. Yet Shari was there to give it a nudge when it seemed the transaction was going nowhere. Without her pushing behind the scene, the transaction probably would not have happened. We are particularly impressed by her endless energy and dedication to her job. In the middle of our purchase transaction, Shari was unfortunately ill and needed some time to recuperate. We were initially worried but later found out our worries were needless. She had arranged for an equally capable associate to fill in when she couldn't. Even so, we were surprise to learn that she was involved every step of the way on the side line while she was in the hospital and later recuperating at home. Shari, your endless energy, capability and willingness to go over and above of what is required of you have made you a successful realtor. When we decided to put our rental property on the market and needed a realtor, Shari came to our mind. It was just so natural that we came to rely upon Shari for her expertise and service. We found Shari through luck when we searched for a house in Livingston nearly two years ago. Our experience with Shari’s service was excellent. If I had to use two words to describe Shari’s service, it would be “turn-key service”. Shari guided us every step of the way in the process providing services over and beyond call of duty: she researched and suggested comparable rental prices of similar properties on the market; she had a professional photographer took pictures of our property for marketing free of charge; she took good care of the property like her own – put a basket filled with booties in the front door for prospective renters to put on in inclement weather; she frequently provided us with feedback on the property showings. My husband and I decided to list our town home minutes after sitting down with Shari. She was organized, knowledgeable and realistic. But we also needed to buy....

 

It was not easy for us to find a new home that met our needs.  Not only did we have specifications for a certain house, but a very specific area we wanted to live. Shari has an amazing network at her fingertips, which she used to make sure we got everything we wanted, and more. There was no stopping her once we decided what we wanted. She went to bat for us and always hit a homerun! Shari leaves no stone unturned. From making sure the inspector did his job properly (she literally climbed a ladder to check the attic) to going down to the building department to make sure we were 100% protected before purchasing our new home, Shari did it all! She spent hours with us looking for homes during the day, and I frequently woke up in the morning to emails from her with ideas she had during the night.  More impressive was how well received Shari was everywhere we went.  For instance, at a broker open house another agent actually stopped to tell me how wonderful Shari was and how we couldn’t be in better hands!

As was the case with the sell of our home, buying a home with Shari Miller means that she will not rest until you have the home of your dreams, at the fair market price. I was shocked when I realized she was working with several other families at the same time. Shari always made me feel as though I was her only client. She is always calm, cool and collected no matter the situation. As we start our life in our new home we will always have Shari to thank for making all our dreams come true.
